Refund policy
At Pikantista, we want you to enjoy every purchase. If you change your mind, you can withdraw from your order under the following terms. Spanish law applies (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, TRLGDCU).
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, take physical possession of the goods. If your order includes several goods delivered separately, the period starts when you receive the last item.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Pikantista S.L., Calle Balleneros 10 (bajo), 20009 Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain, phone: +34 695 766 424, email: general@pikantista.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below or our online withdrawal function, but neither is obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for any supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 calendar days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back or hand over the goods to Pikantista S.L., Calle Balleneros 10 (bajo), 20009 Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 calendar days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Please use suitable packaging to protect the products during transport.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
As our products are food items, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they have been unsealed after delivery, e.g. hot sauces, chili powders, spices or snacks whose seal, safety cap or closed packaging has been opened;
- goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, e.g. fresh products or products for immediate consumption.
Unopened products in their intact original packaging can be returned within the 14-day period.
