The 7 Pot Douglah chili is a Capsicum chinense variety from Tobago and Trinidad (Caribbean). It is one of the hottest chili varieties from the region. The fruits, 4 to 6 cm in size, resemble habaneros in shape but have an uneven surface and a very fruity, nutty and smoky flavour.

They ripen from green through black-purple to brown. The 7 Pot Douglah chili is very hot, with a heat level of between 900,000 and 1,800,000 SHU. The plant grows up to 90 cm tall and should be placed in a sunny spot. After germination, once the leaves form, the young plants should receive 10–14 hours of light per day. This is possibly the best chilli sauce I've ever had, loads of fruit from all the berries, and a real kick from the Scorpions. Particularly good with wild boar and venison.
