A yellow variant of the notorious Carolina Reaper. The Carolina Reaper is a Capsicum chinense variety originally from South Carolina, USA. Since 2013 the (red) Carolina Reaper has held the world record as the hottest chili in the world. The fruits are about 5 cm long and 3 cm wide and extremely hot. They ripen from green to yellow, have a distinctive pointed stinger and an uneven surface.

Their flavour is fruity-sweet and very aromatic. They can be harvested from August to October. They are hardly suitable for eating raw, but can be used for making chili sauce, drying or pickling. The plant grows about 80 to 90 cm tall and up to 60 cm wide; plants should be spaced at least 50 cm apart. A sunny spot is ideal. This vegetable can be grown in tubs or pots to save space.

This is possibly the best chilli sauce I've ever had, loads of fruit from all the berries, and a real kick from the Scorpions. Particularly good with wild boar and venison.
