An original sauce from Zimbabwe – a union of the flavours of Africa, Europe and India. Sun-ripened chilies with fresh lemon juice give this sauce its brilliant kick. Made in small batches. Fenugreek and the exotic spice asafoetida make it unique. An easy-to-dose sauce with small pieces of chili.
Dr. Trouble sauces are unique. On the farm in Zimbabwe, only fresh lemon juice is used instead of cheap vinegar – and not just any lemons. They are harvested from naturally grown trees in the tribal areas of the Zambezi Valley, one of the most isolated parts of the world. And that great lemon flavour really comes through.
The chilies used are sorted by hand to ensure that only the best quality goes into Dr. Trouble sauces. The salt comes from salt pans in Botswana. The chilies are smoked over English oak.

This is possibly the best chilli sauce I've ever had, loads of fruit from all the berries, and a real kick from the Scorpions. Particularly good with wild boar and venison.
