The Shishito chili belongs to the Capsicum annuum species and comes from Japan; its name means "lion's head". The plants grow bushy and can reach up to 1 metre. They should be placed in a sunny, sheltered spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight, preferably more.

This is possibly the best chilli sauce I've ever had, loads of fruit from all the berries, and a real kick from the Scorpions. Particularly good with wild boar and venison.
