They should be placed in a sunny, sheltered spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight, preferably more. Put the plants outside about 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost. The small, slender fruits, about 2 cm long and in different colours, make this plant a real eye-catcher in the garden or on the balcony.
They ripen from cream through purple, yellow and orange to red. Ripening takes about 90 days. The 1 x 2 cm pods are very hot and are good for sauces, salsas and drying, and are also used to season sauces and stews. They are also excellent for drying and grinding into powder. The germination temperature should be 22° - 32°.

This is possibly the best chilli sauce I've ever had, loads of fruit from all the berries, and a real kick from the Scorpions. Particularly good with wild boar and venison.
