The Trinidad Scorpion Moruga Yellow comes from Tobago (Caribbean) and is one of the hottest chilies in the world – in yellow! It belongs to the Capsicum chinense species. Growing to about 90 cm, the plant is also recommended as a houseplant thanks to its bright yellow pods and unusual fruit shape. It should be placed in a sunny, sheltered spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight, preferably more.

As the plants have a fairly long ripening period, you should grow them in pots so that you can bring them indoors when daytime temperatures drop below 12°C. This is possibly the best chilli sauce I've ever had, loads of fruit from all the berries, and a real kick from the Scorpions. Particularly good with wild boar and venison.
